Last month the Premier League issued a controversial idea of the plan held a play-off between the fourth to seven Premier League final standings to fight one remaining ticket to the Champions League.

The plan is to reap the pros and cons of the clubs coaches Premier league. Most coaches feel the objection, including Rafael Benitez (Liverpool) and Sir Alex Ferguson (Manchester United).

After studying the plan in a meeting in London, the leaders of the Premier League club said rejected.

"The main topics of discussion was the prospect of play-offs for the Champions League final tickets. We provide a lot of discussion, details and data. But there was not enough support to carry out this idea, so we will not discuss this proposal further," said Premier CEO Richard Scudamore.
